Did some computer work today. installed a new hard drive, new DVD burner, some memory, a new keyboard, some software and Window XP. Moe of the same tomorrow and Thursday.
Looks like Thursday may bring some warmer temperatures and some sun. Today was very gloomy. Not a nice day at all.
I'll put a picture of the bathroom progress on here, too.
At least it's starting to feel like Spring. Thursday is supposed to be in the 60's and that's fine with me. I haven't done much with the garden or the lawn and need to get out there and tidy things up a bit and get ready for the growing season.
I have started to work on the walls of the bathroom. I'm taking off the tiles and pulling out some of the older accessories and trim. I'm going to have to get some help with the tub and the plumbing in general. We think a double lavatory is the best idea for the room and some new lighting, cabinets, and faucets will help make things look a little more modern. I think we're going to go with grey and white with polished stainless accessories. I want to re-use some of the old grey ceramic tiles. They really are pretty nice. I have to find a way of getting rid of all the old tiles and have been wrapping them up and putting them in the general trash. that will be an ongoing effort for a few months. Progress is slow!
C'mon Spring!
Well, looks like the winter still has a hold on us. Pretty cold today for the middle of March. I took Evelyn to the hospital today for X-rays. she will see the chiropractor on Friday afternoon.
I hear it's snowing in IN. They need to start praying to different gods out there.
I'm hoping for some nice warm weather in a while. I have to start on the bathroom remode and need the warm weather to do the domolition with the window open. I also need to shut off the water. Lots of stuff to do in the Spring.
Well, here it is March 2nd and it's raining down sleet and everything is icy. I'm getting depressed with this strange wintry weather.
Looks like the ice is going to keep me from things I'd like to do today.
